In 1996, Steven Learner founded Steven Learner Studio, an award-winning, Manhattan-based architecture and interiors studio. Learner’s studio garnered a reputation for refined and inviting spaces for both commercial and residential clients. His approach to design is anchored by a deep understanding of the aesthetic and practical elements required to enhance the experience of viewing and living with art.

ART SPACES

Widely published public spaces have included the Guggenheim Museum cafe, Christie’s Private Sales, Haunch of Venison and Sean Kelly Gallery, as well as a 20,000 square foot private museum for a prominent collection of modern and contemporary art.

RESIDENCES

Learner’s expertise in exhibiting without overshadowing artwork extends to the private residences he has designed for prominent artists, collectors, and gallerists. His sensitive approach is evident in the bespoke, flexible spaces he creates that balance the personal essence of the collection with the highest exhibition standards.
